In order to support effective team collaboration, an unlimited number of users can share access to a Convert account. For security reasons, users can have different permission levels, which restricts access to different aspects of Convert functionality.

Understanding Permissions
When adding a user as a Member of an account, they'll have access to all aspects of the account according to their permission level.
Permission rules are listed below:
- Read
- This user can view all reports, including rankings and recommendations.
- This user can view all account objects and configurations, but will not have the ability to make any modifications.
- This user cannot delete the account or any objects within it.
- This user cannot invite new users or remove existing users.
- This user cannot view any billing information.
- Edit
- This user can view all reports, including rankings and recommendations.
- This user can view and modify all account objects and configurations.
- This user cannot delete the account.
- This user will have the ability to add new members and modify permissions for all members except account Owners.
- This user cannot view any billing information.
- Owner
- Owners will have full permission and control over their account.
- There must be at least one owner per account.
Managing Account Members
Adding Account Members
- Navigate to the Members page.
- Click Add Member.
- Enter the user's Email Address.
- Select the desired Account Permissions.
- Click Send Invite.
- You can view the Status of user's invitation on the account's Members page.
Notes:
- After the invitation is sent, the invited user will receive an email with instructions to create their user profile.
- A user must have a Google account associated with their email address to log in and access the account. For information on how to create a Google account for an existing email address, view our support article here.
- Once the user logs in to set up their profile, the user's name will be displayed in the members table, and their status change to "Accepted".
Removing Account Members
- Navigate to the Members page.
- Click Remove.
- Confirm the removal in the modal that pops up by clicking Remove User Access.
Managing User Permissions
Users can also edit their own permissions or leave accounts, if needed. To do so, users should navigate to the Permissions page by clicking in the Profile menu in the top right corner.
Notes:
- Users cannot increase their own permission level.
- Users cannot leave an account where they are the only Owner.
- If a user leaves an account or changes their permissions, the action cannot be undone.
